The
simplest way to talk about him, is through concepts . Alexander McQueen was
elegance and vanguard, style, newest, shock, strongness, happiness, wildness,
revolution, evolution, luxury, passion, sensuality, originality, royalty,
youth, steadiness, fantasy, darkness and brightness, for say just a few. Him
wanted to dress to a strong woman, give her sureness, don’t make her a
submissive one, like the most (Dior, I’m talking to you).
When I
found out he was gone, I decide to myself with biggest conviction to follow my
heart, and start to study “Fashion Designer”. Thanks to him, today I’m where
I’m, and I want to grow up to become such an ARTIST like him was.
This are a
few of my favorite designs by him, they are all in the exhibition: “Savage

McQueen, no un diseñador de indumentaria, un ARTISTA del indumento.
La forma más
simple de hablar sobre él, es a través de conceptos propiamente suyos.
Alexander McQueen era Elegancia y vanguardia, estilo, novedad, impacto, fuerza,
alegría, salvajismo, revolución, evolución, lujuria, pasión, sensualidad,
originalidad, realeza, juventud, firmeza, fantasía, oscuridad y brillo, por
nombrar los pocos. Él quiso vestir a una mujer fuerte, darle seguridad, no
volverla sumisa como la mayoría de los grandes diseñadores (Dior, te estoy
hablando a ti).
Cuando me enteré
que se había ido, me decidí con mayor firmeza a seguir mi corazón, y empezar a
estudiar “Diseño de Indumentaria”. Gracias a él, hoy estoy donde estoy, y
quiero crecer para llegar ser el ARTISTA que fue él.
Estos fueron algunos
de mis diseños favoritos de él, todos están en la exhibición: “Savage Beauty”
